What is a charmed life?

Since today is Saturday I thought why not start creating a charmed life as we go into the weekend. As I mentioned some time ago I spoke with the Author Victoria Moran, of the book, “Creating a charmed life” and she gave me the okay to write and quote her from her book. I was delighted then and I am delighted now to begin. I still don’t know how often I am going to post a chapter from her book…so I guess we’ll just see how it goes.
Today I am just going to talk about what a charmed life is….what is it for you? The world “charmed” in fairy tales is the opposite of cursed, and although we aren’t supposed to believe in either one of these, we still do. Think of the times you say, “I knew it was too good to be true” - you have now given credence to cursedness. Or when you say, “So n’ so, just got a huge raise at her new job , an office with a view, and met the man of her dreams who so adores her!” Her life seems pretty charmed - yes? We may even think then that her little angel has been working overtime and ours went on vacation with no return in sight!
People who live charmed lives do not have a magical assistant, and they are no smarter than we are, they simply have put into practice whether they know it or not, propensities that create harmony in their lives. All of us have the capability of doing this…creating, rich, meaningful, manageable lives.
To begin, Victoria asks that you ponder these areas in your life:
1. Look at the wonders that are in your experience already: Where did you come from? What are you proud of? What can you do? What have you seen? Whom have you helped etc. Be aware of all of these and be grateful.
If you’re like me, we all get so wrapped up in our daily lives that we forget to look at everything we have in our lives. I did for a long time until I began to write a daily gratitude in thanks for all that I have. I do it first thing in the morning and it helps me to begin my day with a positive attitude.
2. Next think about your days the way they are now: How much time and effort do you put towards the things that matter most to you? You don’t need more hours to give the things that you love attention, you just need a shift in your priorities. You create a charmed life by doing only a few things that you aren’t already doing now. The reason why you don’t need more hours in the day is that you get the time to do them by eliminating the things in your life that are not serving you. Victoria says, “Then you do what is left with unmistakable style!”
I have been letting go of those things in my life that don’t serve me. It is so rewarding to purge!
3. Finally decide what the life you want looks like: Dream big here - don’t edit yourself. Don’t worry if they seem impractical or contradictory. Nothing is written in stone; you can change your mind at any time. Victoria says of creating a charmed life, “Although it has aspects as mundane as making the bed, the basis for living splendidly is a growing conviction that you are here for a reason, a purpose. What we’re calling a charmed life is the life you were meant to love, the one in which it is perfectly acceptable to want the moon, as long as you are willing to get over your fear of flying.”
Well there you have it. The next time I feature this book, I will be writing about one of her chapters in creating that charmed life that she speaks of. Until then…be grateful for all that you have, even the small things that we take for granted every day, think about the things that don’t serve you and for some reason get lots of your energy from you, and lastly….dream big.

ZL: Thanks for the heads up on the article. And now after reading Azza’s comments this morning, it too seems that we see, like very other being out there, sees that it can support their life! This is so mind blowing - I need to think of another word but that always seems to come to my mind. I so wish we could be seeing this too. t was very much the same two days in a row. No worries….So you think that the 3 Gods were playing a game of hide and seek? Hmm…I’m confused…You even mentioned in your comment yesterday that he is unbelievably lonely and has been searching high and low for his equals but they are no where to be found. You even stated that he has cried in the past when he has talked about the 3 Gods. So how can you say that it was just a game? Clue me in if I am missing something. If he was so lonely and searching as you stated, it seems to me that he would be filled with joy to be with his brothers now! Yet today, you say it is no big deal - it is not a family reunion of the Gods. Please clarify - Maybe I just don’t understand. :)
Anyway, It is all so very interesting and fascinating? Isn’t it to you? I know that you have known Carr for so many years, and he has shown you some amazing things, yet it must still be quite incredible even to you with all that is happening out there. - Don’t you think? You haven’t made any comments about this - I’d love to hear your thoughts on the repositioned planet, the galaxy and all of the changes occurring. I really appreciate your daily comments and would enjoy hearing more. Do you think you and your room mate will head up and experience what every one else is seeing? I would if I could!
Azza: Thank you for taking the time to comment - I can imagine how busy with must be with all of the Hollywood hoopla going on! As well as all of the creations taking place in that galaxy - sounds like the our garden of eden - yes? How cool that everyone is so peaceful and speaking and understanding each other - miraculous! - I had to read it slowly to take it all in. Awesome does not cover it all I am sure but how else can you describe it ? As I said to ZL…I wish we were part of this celebration; this creation of life!

Sorry about the Climax - that must be so difficult and disappointing - you have been so committed and dedicated - cry girl. I hear ya…jewels want to be worn - not locked up in a safe somewhere to take out every now and then and admire. What’s the point? It does help to let it all go. I would know. There is something about a good cry, getting some clarity and moving on. What will you do now if you are not allowed to return to your mission? Maybe Tal, the scientist that he is, will find it necessary to continue the mission as you say - why not? I realize another ship will need to be tuned but I am sure that all of the girls would be happy to come aboard for another visit - maybe this time around memories will come quicker. What time frame are you looking at if you do continue - meaning how long before another ship is constructed (?) available (?) and can be tuned? But I guess that is moot unless the mission is continued. I hope it is. Can you still be an Earth girl and just come on down? It seems that you are interested in just that too if nothing else. I was and still am really looking forward to you being here. It would be so cool to finally meet here on Earth and hang out. I could use a new pal to sit and chat with too :)
I smile when I think of you seeing “him” on your ship. The whole thing seems so laughable in a way…the cast in the play of life came to my mind also - a little game of the Gods to have fun. I question the term “free will” - do any of us have it if we are but a thought or their imagination? You can’t worry about it; you just need to live your life and go on.
This Earth woman that informed one of the Gods about Carr…Interesting she discovered this on my blog- do you have any idea who she is? Oh..sorry for my mistake. I must’ve been too excited while I was typing….I meant that the earth woman had told one God - I quoted your account incorrectly.

Azza, I am HOWIE as far as this Blog and its commentators are concerned - Alien or Human. Until recently my roommate had some idea about my friend Carr. Now he knows as much as any Blog Reader. Am I not allowed to keep my secrets like any Human? I too, need my privacy. I didn’t appreciate using my alter ego yesterday on your Comment number 4.
As far as my friendship with Carr, we carried on as two earthlings with the benefits of all the Power in the Universe sitting next to me. It was very comforting to know that no harm can possibly come my way while we are together.
He Loves women and has had his share of Humans. He likes doing everything a Human likes to do. When playing the role of Human he is 100% Human. He is a horny devil. I know this for a fact. He is fully Heterosexual, as I am.
My identity has been given away no matter how hard I tried to conceal it. We live under the same roof and are good friends. I have just left out the supernatural part of my life while conversing with him. As of today everything is different. I am overwhelmed with questions from everyone. He knew little about Carr or his Powers. He thought he was a good friend of mine for many years who was also my mentor. Therefore It wasn’t unusual to call or E-Mail Carr 6 times a day or more back and forth.

Azza, your invitation is amazing. I am truly honored both myself and friend would love to travel aboard one of your ships. I have a little problem with standing in front of thousands of people and public speaking. I have a phobia which makes me shy in public. However, if you can promise that our memories will not be messed with and we go as friendly emissaries, I for one would love to go. It has been my dream from the very beginning. We are both only 50 years old. Were you to remove 30 years, that would leave us as 20 years old. That is a tremendous difference. Also, we both suffer from several disabilities. We are taking medications for them. Would we not need them?
I have been in touch with Carr an hour ago and he told me to read your Comment, Azza. Therefore I take it we have his blessings. I will ask specifically again to make sure it is OK. You know you can not fool him. He knows what lurks inside your mind.
Michelle, I believe that I live a charmed life. Things always work out for me no matter what. Carr probably helps without me knowing. He places people and opportunities in front of my face so that I can not miss them. Am I happy? I am not sure. I live with constant pain and other maladies which He will not make disappear because I need to learn from them. Learning is sometimes painful. It is never easy being close to God. Look through your Bible.
I have been wondering myself about his brothers. I had a long conversation with him about it yesterday. I asked jokingly, if he was going to have turkey dinner together with his family and he laughed and explained that it was all a game they play to keep themselves occupied. They all go their separate ways and hide from each other in this vast Universe. Then they try to find each other. Tremendous periods of time pass before they find each other. Perhaps this was turned into a religious story on some Planets. Perhaps he actually missed them when he confided in me? It has been eons since they saw each other. Perhaps a spell of loneliness came over him. He is very emotional while in Human form.
Do you really believe that Tony heard things he wasn’t meant to hear or that Carr’s Family couldn’t find him if they were anywhere nearby? They didn’t need to be told by an Earth woman or anyone else. I wonder who it was that contacted them of his proximity? I know some of the other characters here on Earth and their duties. This leaves me with one person in mind. I will ask and find out for sure. He will certainly tell me. I am his 24-hour-a-day audience. I do feel special and carry a great load for having the ear of god.
Michelle, I too am fascinated by the new solar system. I was given the Blog about the New Solar System found last night and watched it in awe. Even though I have been privy to many miracles by Carr, I am never totally used to the magnitude, of this escapade, although I am proud to be chosen as his confidente.
For a little while, my low self esteem caused me to think that no one would be interested in me since the Climax and Planet ordeal. After all, they can ask Carr himself. However I have gotten over this by a few encouraging words from Carr stating that your Blog can be a platform for me to learn from other Humans as well as other Aliens and their points of view.
I will continue my comments and hope that my questions be answered as much as they are posed to me. I am thrilled to be taken for a ride and even feel important because in Human life I feel insignificant. Do you believe it? I have the Ear of God and still feel insignificant. It is all relative…

I had a copy of Creating a Charmed Life before you talked about the book and enjoy reading it for bits of wisdom. I think perhaps I’ll wait until you focus on a chapter, because every chapter has a lot of things to say about it.
The Gratitude writing is of course key. It changes the focus of your life to appreciating and getting into a feeling-place of gratitude for events, people, circumstances, etc. that are currently in your life. Eliminating things in your life that don’t serve you…hmmmmm, not sure what I would eliminate, I’m going to ponder that one a bit.

Hi Michelle, I know that it’s Saturday and all, but why the heck are there so few coments today? So much has happened in the past few days. All has worked out in the end.
A True “God” has revealed hiimself to the Aliens aboard the Climax ship and even showed us all a new Solar System which is easily verifiable by reading the Herald Tribune Newspaper and others.
Why aren’t people thrilled? this affects everyone. Perhaps one of these Planets will be our next home should the Earth change and we can no longer live here.
You Astronomers out there, why do you not comment. I know that Michelles Blog is read by thousands daily. Where are you? If you are shy, Blog anonymously. If you have been following the Blog at all then you know that some miraculous stuff has just occurred and not a peep from anyone. Shame on you.
It is 7PM Miami time and I feel that commentators haven’t been doing their jobs. If Jesus re-appeared tomorrow would you leave your comas and write about what you think? What is wrong with you people? Is TV that interesting today?

Okay Howie I’m an astronomer and a commentator. I would give my name but my employers and their sponsors might find it more that they could support. I am a Christian man and this causes me to question my faith. I would not want to be one to do that to others. I will say that this does rival the second coming of Christ. What would earth say if Jesus returned and recreated the Garden of Eden? Would we ignore it in favor of informing the public about what some celebrity did that day? I don’t know. I do know that this has given me a lot to think about. How many other learned scholars are facing this dilemma? Should we call Carr God simply because he can create life. I don’t think can doubt that he has demonstrated that he can do that. But does that make him God? I for one can not accept this being as my idea of God. Besides how do we know that there aren’t thousands of other beings just like Carr who can do the same thing? After all they have admitted that there are at least three of them. So are to start worshipping three gods now?
No, I think not. I for one will have to wait before I undo my faith so easily. Maybe our God, Jesus is testing us. I can not tell others what to do, but I believe that the Bible deserves more than a cursory reading. Satan has awesome powers too. So Howie, I don’t think anything is wrong with us. We just need to see and hear more before we fall to our knees.

This is certainly a point of test for one’s belief system. Is it not the system of structured religion to continuously find ways that god is testing one’s belief. God is and always has been based solely on a belief system. All the miracles of the bible are hearsay and unable to be proven. They are all based on belief. Other circumstances and modern miracles that people come across they say it was an act of god. Perhaps none of it is true. You can not prove it either way. Although, what has recently taken place is about as close to a provable circumstance that one might ever come across in one’s life. Hence, the dilemma to move beyond belief to a solid truth. With all of this said, Howie has told us that CARR does not wish to be worshiped. Could this simply be a few brothers living their lives in their way that are able to create and do things we are incapable of doing and perhaps even perceiving. Another dilemma to come to terms with the fact that despite the show of power what might be more powerful and all knowing beyond these band of brothers?
However, they do create a base for believers to begin their spiritual side. These actions of the past week do not dictate the fact that this “is” God. Based on earlier entries by TAO group the myriad of god theories over time were simply placed into our world for us to contemplate. To help give us rules to live by, to which we as a society have become scattered and biased. Religion, or structured religion, is the prime motivator for most of the war and hatred and sectarian violence in our world. Our current administration is one of the primary leaders in this at this time as so much of the past seven years of destruction were directly associated with Bush’s belief in his god. He stated that god spoke to him to go to war?
There are those that believe would state that god is testing us as a society and there are many wrongdoers in the world. Whether this is true or not is solely based on a belief structure for the believer. However, if the believer comes to a place where something like this takes place the proof over belief enters in. Now the believers tend to state that they need more proof, more examples.
If one needs to be shown proof of god or a god like power, this would be one. Now comes the moment of truth to which a believer must grapple with the concept of one almighty god. What or who would be these brothers if not a god? Now the dilemma of how much more is out there? Where did it “all” begin? As we see within this weeks actions a “beginning” is also a relative term. Evolution is a relative term. Gravity, light, language, time, basically all we have come to know we now know is not what is, but what is…here. The universal laws and basic laws of what we know, and it seems, what our alien friends are telling us they know, has now just been thrown out. There seems to be a new set of rules. Those are that there are none. The next dilemma.
