Planet Earth
Posted by michellemoquin on June 8th, 2008

Last night Doug and I watched for the first time after owning it since Christmas, Planet Earth. Why we waited so long…I am clueless. But we finally sat down with a bottle of bubbly, the fireplace blazing and enjoyed each other and the visual. If you haven’t had the opportunity to see it on the Discovery Channel, I highly recommend purchasing the DVD set. Your entire family will love it. And if you are tight on cash, I am sure that Discovery will run it again and again. Don’t miss it - It is truly spectacular! I applaud Emmy® Award-winner Sir David Attenborough for his creative genius!
It is one of the most awesome showcases of this planet and all it of its wonderful creations. I thank the Gods for delighting every single one of my senses. And we only watched one DVD - there are four more to feast on! Their imaginative minds are endless. I can’t even begin to tell you all of the amazing wildlife that you will see in every imaginable color. They say that every color in the spectrum is in nature and this series proves it. I felt so grateful to be able to witness life on such a level; so amazed to see endless terrain take on so many shapes and forms. I felt so blessed to be on this planet; so appreciative of the beauty right here. I needed this connection to earth…lately, I have not felt it.
Unfortunately none of the youtube videos I am allowed to embed here :( but if you wish to see one there are many to choose from. They are quite beautiful.
Enjoy the day - it is quite beautiful too.
Gratefully your blog host,
michelle ?

This series of high definition films done with amazing cinematography and production shows how amazing and diverse our world is. The Gods have done an amazing job. It also shows how much of this world our whetted appetite to see has now grown. More to schedule and experience!
Such an educational tool, I love it!
