This n’ that

Good morning!
I am feeling much better this morning. Slept good - no unconscious analyzing of my life - it really had a toll on me yesterday and left me in quite a tizzy. I felt fine after my latte but then it hit me hard for about 10 minutes in the mid afternoon. I shook it off but it resurfaced its head and tried for a comeback - no way.
Went out for drinks last night to introduce two friends of ours (I will not name names to protect the innocent) that we thought would hit it off….met my girlfriend there and the guy went missing…bad first impression but he called and said he would make it up by cooking dinner for all of us. Deal. He is a foodie who can cook and knows his wine. I think we can forgive him :)
Hi ZL: How are you feeling today? I haven’t had food poisoning in a long time, thankfully. That sucks - it is cruel to the gut. Hope you are doing much better.
Congrats on the new job choice! I hope that you do well with it. I forgot to mention that I have a little of the eye cream Repair/Nutremin C that my girlfriend gave me. I use it alternately with another eye cream. Thanks for the info about the Parabens - that is good news. Why American made products need to have a shelf life for 7-9 years is crazy. The product opened should only be used for a short time thereafter anyway. I hardly ever use American products on my face or body for that same reason unless they don’t contain the ‘dirty dozen’. I like DHC from Japan; some of their products contain 1% of the Parabens but none of the COQ10 products do, which I like. I also use another product from the dead sea…can’t remember the name off hand but they are made overseas too and only have a trace amount of the Parabens also. Anyway, happy to hear that network marketing is shedding the bad rap.
Earthling Girls: Hello. What’s going on with China? I give you permission to dish the dirt on the candidates - by all means pass the info and be frank. Oh and don’t leave out any crap in the gas either. What is going on with our oil prices? Is it just supply and demand or is someone manipulating it? Please share what you know.
Hi AH: You know I would love to hear your opinion, thoughts, ideas about the election. I’m sure my readers would too. Can you break away from adam and the girls long enough to say a few words? :)
Hi Anonz: What are you up to now?
Hey Mike: Thanks for the email. As you can see I posted the virtual tour of our house in the left column of my blog. Please direct the couple that you mentioned to my blog and anyone else that you think may be interested. Doug and I have no problem giving a finders fee to someone who turns us onto a buyer. So Readers: That means you too!
Cheerio, I am outta here…
Gratefully your blog host,
michelle ?

Hi Michelle,
I’m much better today, though my head was spinning along with that friggin’ pole last night, yuck…
I’m re-thinking the Arbonne experience, not sure it’s the right fit for me, though I totally dig the product, and I will turn friends on to it. We women (as a market) are fickle and the choice to try something newer and better is always out there. The MLM life is such that you must call upon your ‘warm’ contacts and pretty much speak to total strangers about what you do 24/7, not sure that’s my thing either. I want my warm contacts to stay warm : )would you agree with that MLMish assessment?
Hey anonz, I did not mean to negate your vanity needs by my opening statement in yesterday’s comments, no offense to your personal feelings, bc it’s really about how you feel about you, not anyone else’s opinion, so forget what I said.
Doug, I had to ditch Mozilla Firefox which is where I had your site bookmarked, please put the link here when you can, it’s been interesting reading, know all about the ex-pat tax deal.
I wrote about jury duty, got called in, did not wear the tiara, I wasn’t feeling the love there today, and needed an out for tomorrow’s charity event, so I just asked for a postponement hoping that I’ll have a better excuse by the end of September : ) I’ve more than fulfilled a lifetime’s worth of civic duty, let someone else take a turn!
