Tuesday Talk

Ahh…it’s so nice to have some readers commenting. The past few days have been slow. Kind of reminded me of when I started this blog almost a year ago….when it was just lil’ ol me typin’ away everyday. I had no idea what I would write about besides what was happening in my life and what was on my mind, which after awhile I thought people would get bored with. Not that my life isn’t exciting but I didn’t want it to be all about me - nooo….the one thing I didn’t want this blog to be was an on-line diary. Thankfully I don’t think it turned out that way. And I wasn’t sure who or if anyone would make comments. Well we definitely have a great group of commentators; everyone of you included! I’ll bring this up more later on, on the First ‘A’ day - yep this blog will celebrate anniversary numero uno on July 14th.
Hey ZL: How’s the new laptop? Don’t you just love being able to take it anywhere - yes you too can now blog in bed! I am one of those that doesn’t bring my laptop into cafes…I don’t know how any one can get anything done. I am such a people watcher and with everything going on it is just too much stimulation for me. I wish I could but to me it’s the same as when I was in high school and people went to the beach to study - Wha’at?! With all of the people watching and the ocean beauty…It’s just not in my make-up. I’m pretty much one of those that needs silence when I am doing something that I need to focus on - even music is a distraction. I know it’s weird but I know myself well in that way and I know what works. I envy you. Hope you’re having fun with it!
Love paying it forward - great examples of a true friend. You may procrastinate in your own life but you are one helluva cheerleader in others!
Hi Anonz: How are you doing? No worries; you are not taking up too much space - that is what the comment section is here for. :)
You are correct. The aliens do have something to do with the weather and I believe that it has to do with Tal trying to get through the Emperors web. I would not even attempt to explain it to you because I don’t recall if it was even explained to us in detail - the whys and hows. I would ask Tal - he is the Science Officer and quite informative and delightful to talk to. You can address him here on my blog and I am sure that he will answer you. You may not get your answer right away but keep trying - he is a busy man these days.
In regards to your feelings about giving money…It would seem to me the biggest issue you would have would be getting the cash into the hands of the people without the corrupt government getting it and keeping it ALL, which would defeat the purpose. I know you know this but many others might think that just giving it is enough. I can imagine that you are quite the negotiator - you would have to be. I would think that since you are dealing with such large amounts that knowing the government is going to take what they please, (everything!) you would have to strike a deal with them first to insure that the people get the major cut. Maybe offer up a percentage to the Government right off the top, and then give the majority of it directly to the people? The government doesn’t like the deal, you take it off the table and everyone looses - the deal doesn’t happen. I would think if it is a large enough amount, you would have the power here and they wouldn’t turn it down…I don’t know; I am just guessing, but I bet you would have to play major hardball to accomplish your goal. I admire you for your courage, your kindness and devotion to helping others.
That’s it today…chat amongst yourselves and I’ll catch in the morn - have a good one…
Gratefully your blog host,
michelle ?

HI Michelle, I understand what you mean about cafe’ laptopping, I used to not be able to listen to music and need quiet, no distractions…I can’t say it’s a Zen techique but I have learned to tune in and tune out whatever ‘noise’ or visual distractions I want to. This cafe’ had everyone on laptops, it was quiet and fun, stopped to people watch, we all did it, I asked if it was cool if I played tunes and everyone liked my choices so not sure if another day it’d work but yesterday it did. right now it’s Evanesance, thanks to Doug and pal Pandora Internet radio, love it.
I’m curious why above commenter wants to interview you re: Pakistan, or are you a known ‘world peace officer,’ commander M?
anonz, pay no attention to commenter Ed on my blog, he’s just jealous of you ; ) new pic on site, not much better but my camera is fubar in the focus dept and I have to crop the other decent ones, don’t want to put my pals faces on my blog without their approval and I’m not into asking for it right now.
Michelle, you know anonz brought up some points that are interesting, the global weather but also why if CARR has an ‘affection’ for this planet, would he allow such hideous behavior/actions amongst its less fortunate inhabitants, or is it a ‘free will’ thing like with organized religions? It’s been so long and right now I have no time to read your archives but I’m wondering if all that had been addressed and we regular participants have put those q/a’s to bed already? Cannot recall lah…where has Tao group and the girls been?
anonz, I’m curious, how does it feel when you read about you being snagged out of imminent death by alien intervention? I truly cannot imagine how that’d hit me if it were me…I think I may not wnat to believe it bc it sounds outrageous. I certainly have my q’s re: some alien comments/my own beliefs, but maybe it’s easier for me bc I am a free thinker in re: to religion, miracles, reincarnation (the ultimate in recycling) and infinite possibilities…? I’m not sure where you stand on org religion, miracles or anything else… : ) hahaha…recall reading about your family wanting to step in to handle your finances at one point, are you close with them or no?
I’m outta here, manana I am going to find a Zen meadow with wifi(?!), trying to find that weeping willow/Japanese maple place, can’t shake the visual and don’t really want to : )

You are quite the negotiator. I am in the process of offering several million dollars to the heads of the places that I want to get aid to people. They are to a man as crooked as one can get. Graft is the state of existence for the region. Everyone is in government to get rich.
I will insist on having control of the resources that I am giving to their people. I am going to give them their share of the money in stages as their people get to receive theirs. The interesting thing is that people in our government are sticking me for political contributions to speed through the applications and forms I will need to move large sums of money to these countries. It seems graft is the state of existence for this administration also. They seem to be in government to get rich too.

Of course a complete woman like you would play my favorite game. Rocco didn’t win but he gave Tiger a match. I won a lot of money. The points were worth a small fortune. It wasn’t about the money though. I really wanted Rocco to win. I bet on him to show that I put my money where my wants are. The fact that I insisted on odds(points) just says that I am still an astute business man.
As for Ed, hey I’m just envious of the rapport he seems to have with you. Count your blessings Ed. Does he know that I’m your “Sweet Pea?” See Ed I’ve got a few blessings too.
“Not much better” you say. Well when you’re that fine whose complaining.
I don’t remember being snagged out of imminent death by aliens. I don’t know who snagged me. I am grateful to whomever it was that saved me, of course. I am aware of the amazement of my doctors that I suffered no brain damage at all, and my mobility was miraculously restored.
As for it being aliens, why me? I have begun reading their commentary on the subject. It is so real that it’s scary. If I started to believe in aliens, it wouldn’t be the worse thing I could do. But for now, I remain skeptical.
As for where I stand on religion, it has evolved from devout catholic to a disappointed spectator. I could use a Carr as my companion. Now there’s a god that doesn’t give a shit about his creations. No offense intended, Mr. Carr.
Howie,
Just how do you address Carr in the privacy of your communications? How do you reach him? Or how does he contact you?
Sorry, Zen. didn’t mean to digress. “Miracles,” well as I stated above. I’ve had my share of them lately. If I may, I consider the fact that you are willing to continue conversing with me after I caused you problems(unintentionally, of course) on your blog(won’t do it again) a real miracle for me.
I haven’t read that part about my family wanting to step in to handle my finances. But it is true that they tried; so my attorneys tell me.
No, I am not close to any of my family on my father’s side. My estranged mother refuses to have anything to do with me (my fault entirely) and I have never met any of her family members. I don’t even know if she has any. She has returned every check I have ever sent her. As far as I know, I am her only child, yet she refuses to see or talk with me.
If you are reading this. I LOVE YOU MOM!
What’s a boy to do? Hey aliens, tell my mother to lighten up and come see her child.
Guess that’s why I’m not married. What woman would want to be serious about a man who’s mother doesn’t like him. Hey, if you want grand children, then you had better make up with me soon. I aging as we, eh I, speak.
I’m outta here too. I’ve got a visual I want to revisit.

Couldn’t resist this one. I read your “Jury Duty” blog. I know it’s too late for your blog on that subject. But here’s my take;
How about trying this one. “I would love to serve, I think it is about time someone was on a jury that doesn’t believe that what a cop says is from god’s mouth to your ear.”
“It’s my personal opinion that they are just public servants like any one else. The fact that they get shot at is part of their job description and that doesn’t automatically make them heros to me.”
Memorize those lines and say them with the right amount of aplomb and you will never get selected for jury duty. One side or the other will eliminate you on challenge.
